A short 'Who-Is' deLooff Aeroplanes:

Ramses de Looff

Born: 1974, Nationality: Dutch, Profession: Architectural Designer.

I live in the Netherlands (N.Br.) with my lovely daughter Iris and cat Snoopey.

"deLooff Aeroplanes" is the name I use for my website and designs, it is not a commercial venture or a business.

In this scale model aircraft hobby since 1982, build & flown FF and RTP until 1989 and from then on only RC.

Then I went to art academy, joined three 'ska/punk/hardcore' bands, skateboarding, etc, no time or interest for modeling... 

Finished school, started working at an architectural firm and bought my first car, an Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2000.

Became an Alfisti, started the international Alfa75Register and loved racing on the track days, especially the Nordschleife!

Got married to (my now ex-wife) Thanea in 2000 and our lovely and beautiful daughter Iris was born in 2006.

Restarted with the RC scale modelling hobby in 2008, all models on this website are from 2010 to the present day.

Restarted with the FF scale modelling hobby in 2024 (after visiting the IIFI2023), and i am totally hooked to FF again.

I hope you enjoy the website, and maybe inspire to build too in this now mostly RTF hobby!
